FAMILY APARTMENT CLOSE TO CENTRE OF SAINT GERVAIS

Our apartment is located in a small quiet building less than 400 metres from the town square in the historic ski and spa town of Saint Gervais and only 100 metres from the Mont Blanc tramway and the ski-bus stop. We are on the third floor of one of three buildings comprising the Mont Joly residence. Prior to being split into three apartment blocks in the 1940’s, the deveopment was a hotel called the Mont Joly Palace.

DESCRIPTION OF ACCOMMODATION

Size: 88 square metres
Sleeps: 6-8

The apartment has been recently renovated in 2007/2008, and has a new fully fitted kitchen with stunning views towards Plateau d’Assy and the Fiz mountain range beyond (see photos).  The large open plan dining/living area looks out over the local ski area and past the summit of Mont Joly (2525m) towards the Aravais mountain range in the distance.

 

The family bedroom has a king size bed and double bunks, and a second smaller bedroom has a double bed. There is also a sofa bed in the living area and a third single bunk in the alcove off the hallway. The spacious and newly renovated bathroom has a bath/shower. The apartment is also serviced by a second washroom with WC.

 

Bed linen and towels are provided at a supplement. Utilities include a dishwasher, oven/hob, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine and tumble dryer.  Electric heating and hot water are included in the rental, as is use of the secure ski locker/cave on the ground floor. There is ample parking in the nearby public underground covered car park, or in the parking area for the tramway.

  1. Families with Babies & Toddlers: Travel Cot (newborn-3yrs), Maclaren buggy, books and toys.
  2. Living Area: TV, DVD, Board games.
  3. Kitchen: Toaster, Coffee Maker, Microwave.
